Vintage Tall Victorian Corner Shelf Decorative from France
The lady I purchased these from had originally bought them in France for her house in France and certainly made in France.
The images I have taken actually show the shelves upside down, although they are the way most people would hang them and show the shelves to their best.
I have also taken a photo of them the ‘right way wound’ and you can see each of the shelves has two slits which would, have been to rest decorative plates in,
Made of solid mahogany, the top curved part where the wood is thick looks lovely.
They are Victorian and the shelves have a wonderful French polished finish.
There is a small, filled hole to the centre of each shelf and a small shard of wood missing to the decorative trim to the right hand side of the base.
There are two brass original plates, a further one has been broken, however, two should certainly suffice.
