"Spring Showers" is a lithograph on canvas by Adolf Sehring, an American realist painter renowned for his depictions of rural landscapes and everyday life. This artwork portrays two children sharing an umbrella amidst a gentle spring rain, capturing the innocence and simplicity of childhood. This is a wonderful printed copy in a super vintage glazed frame, likely from the 1980s.
It is in outstanding condition, only the smallest of marks and signs of age. The print still conjures up the fun and innocence of youth - as it should - and would not look out of place in any contemporary home. It is a glazed frame and is read to hang. A really good sized print and frame.
About the Artist: Adolf Sehring (1930–2015) was born in Russia and later moved to the United States, where he became known for his classical realist style. His works often reflect scenes of vanishing America, focusing on humble country life rather than sophisticated cityscapes.
