There are so many single and sets of these sorts of folding chairs around, however this is the real deal and a genuine pre-war chair.
The older ones are very much identifiable by the fact that they are not rocky and are sturdy.
This is very well made and of fine quality.
The wood is beech which is a quality hardwood. Therefore it is intact and sturdy.
Obviously the original finish has worn a little and there are some little marks so I would urge you to take a really good look at all of the images and use the zoom in facility so you can get a really good look and check the condition for yourself, which for the age In would describe as very good.
Distinctive curved seats with slats. You can see the delightful age worn rusty screw heads which I think adds nice bit of genuine authenticity.
These chairs are so practical and can be used as utility chairs inside or outside or just as permanent chairs for the usual use!
