Mid-century modern small table with laminated woodgrain top, tapered legs and metal swivel capped feet

Delightful small mid-century formica faux wood covered table with wooden tapered legs and metal capped feet. In superb vintage condition – faux wood grain covered top and the contrasting wood grain and metal edging is in excellent condition. The wooden tapered legs are another wood finish, with the metal capped feet at each end – the metal caps are pyramid shape rather than classic round astro feet. Superb little table for a mid-century or retro themed room – a lamp table, plant stand, small child’s table. Really unusual to find such a neat, little retro table.

This particular style table with the contrasting banding around the edge, is quite possibly European, although I am not 100% sure of its origin. It is certainly a little different to other tables like this I have seen. And it is smaller. Not big enough for a coffee or wine table, unless you want it next to a pouf – that would work. More likely to be used as a plant stand, lamp table or a display piece in a room.

The legs unscrew and the table will be sent as such. Easy to reassemble. It is in excellent vintage condition, but naturally there are marks and signs of age on it. The metal feet for example are tarnished, but besides signs commensurate with age and use, this table is simply delightful and ready to be used.
