Huge Mid-Century Retro Sculpted Coffee Table 1970s Floral Relief Top Brutalist Art Nouveau Style Gold Bronze Resin FREE HAND Delivery

This is a rectangular mid-century coffee table, most likely produced in the 1970s, combining sculptural surface art with clean lined wooden legs.

The base frame is made from solid wood with a light, warm orangey brown tone. The straight legs are reinforced with metal corner brackets for added strength and stability.

The table top is crafted from cast resin or possibly lacquered compressed board but more likely compressed and moulded sheet metal/composite. Featuring a stunning embossed floral relief design. The highly stylized motif depicts a sweeping diagonal branch with textured leaves and blooming flowers. The raised relief is finished in tones of gold, bronze, and warm copper over a textured black or very dark brown background.

The relief pattern is fully intact, with no significant chips or gouges. There’s a natural aged wear to the high points where the metallic pigments have gently faded, revealing warmer underlayers that enhance the table’s vintage charm. The background surface shows some minor scuffing and rubbing around the edges, consistent with light use and age.

The resin or lacquer finish still holds a soft sheen, though there are fine surface scratches and some micro-cracks visible under strong light. In places, the resin has slightly lifted, creating a subtly rough texture to the touch—but this does not detract from its visual appeal.
