A man's best friend - a dog - lifelong companion. This lovely vintage etching/carving is of someone's Jack Russell. A remarkably life like depiction / portrait. Etched and burnt for colour in a soft wood. Very lovely reminder of a pet who clearly meant a lot to its owner. It is a good size so you can clearly see the features of the animal. The wood is soft so one or two other marks on the actual wood background, The frame is a gold wood with a tightly fitted backing. It has a few knocks too commensurate with ebing stored and moved around. It is ready to hang. It is a lovely portrait for someone who loves animals, dogs and Jack Russells.
