Alabaster (onyx) table lamp, tiered square base, column stem with beautiful shapes, creamy yellow grey veins, vintage lamp, working lamp

A very attractive vintage Alabaster lamp (easily confused with onyx lamp, marble lamp). The wonderful, natural detail in the Alabaster is just gorgeous. The main base colour is that creamy white yellow, but the veins and markings are grey and brown. All a wonderful combination making this lamp attractive on its own with a plain or neutral shade, or because of its natural beauty, it could carry off a shade that is dramatic, bright, bold, patterned etc. Very adaptable and versatile. A gorgeous example of a retro stone alabaster lamp. Still carries its label confirming alabaster from Italy. Likely hand carved. The shapes of the stem are particularly lovely. The lamp is working but has not been professionally tested.
